1Corintios 1:2 a la iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, a los santificados en Cristo Jesús, llamados a ser santos con todos los que en cualquier lugar invocan el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Señor de ellos y nuestro:
El apóstol Pablo le escribe no solamente a la Iglesia de Corinto, sino a nosotros también, y hace un llamado a ser santos, es decir a salir de Egipto, es decir a no a vivir en las corrientes de este mundo sino a vivir como lo que realmente somos. No debes olvidar tu linaje, ya que ahora somos hijos de un Rey y por lo tanto debemos vivir como tales, ya no podemos vivir como cuando no teníamos esperanza ahora somos diferentes. Pues el apóstol Pedro nos hace ese recordatorio no lo olvides y medita en tu corazón lo que eres ahora.
1Pedro 2:9 Más vosotros sois linaje escogido, real sacerdocio, nación santa, pueblo adquirido por Dios, para que anunciéis las virtudes de aquel que os llamó de las tinieblas a su luz admirable;

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours: 1 Corinthian 1:2
Paul the apostle not only writes to the Church of Corinth, but also to us. He calls us to be saints, that is to leave Egypt, it is not to live comforming to this world but to live as who we really are. You must not forget your lineage, because now we are children of a king and therefore we must live as such, because we can not live as if we did not have hope, now we are now different. The apostle Peter reminds us . Do not forget it and meditate in your heart that whom you are now.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
